The Geneva School offers campus visitation days for parents two Tuesdays a month. During this time our Head of School will explain our educational philosophy and our curriculum. Parents are then invited to visit our classrooms during our school tour.
Students in third grade and fourth graders are welcome to shadow for about two hours in their respective classroom. These shadow days are available from 8:00-10:15 or 10:30-12:00 Monday through Thursday. Fifth graders and above are welcome to shadow for half of a day or a full day. Please contact the school office to schedule a shadow day for your child. 949-377-1616.
It is the desire of The Geneva School to provide an education for like-minded Christian families. The Geneva School exists for the church and not the academically elite. During this interview, your family will be asked about your church involvement, your commitment to raising your children within a christian worldview, and your commitment to a rigorous Christian education.
Offering small class sizes is one of The Geneva School's greatest assets. It is important that the range of student knowledge is within a reasonable spectrum. We generally place students into their natural grade and ask parents to provide summer tutoring in specific school subjects to ensure their children are not overwhelmed by TGS' curricular standards at the beginning of the school year. Students are tested in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics.
